NORMOXIC INSTRUCTOR
BECOME A RAID NORMOXIC TRIMIX INSTRUCTOR
When you have earned RAID’s Normoxic Decompression Instructor, you have proved your commitment to your craft as a technical diving professional. This rating allows you to teach and certify divers conducting open-circuit trimix decompression dives to 60 metres following RAID’s proven and respected technical standards. Normoxic mixed gas contains at least 18 percent oxygen and can be breathed on the surface; therefore, it does not require a travel gas. However, managing multiple cylinders is a serious challenge and part of this program’s skill set.
REASONS TO TAKE THIS COURSE
- Each of us has our own reasons for continuing our personal development. For most dive pros, ConED offers many benefits similar to those for their students… learning new skills, broadening one’s experience, and growing understanding are all things that motivate students and instructors. With your background in teaching and the experience you have gained to get to this point in your diving career, moving on to teach full trimix is a significant transition that will challenge you and should affect the satisfaction you get from “sharing the adventure.”
