Extended Decompression Diver (50m / 165ft)
The Extended Decompression Diver Course is designed to safely train divers for deeper underwater exploration, allowing for dives up to a maximum depth of 50 meters / 165 feet.
This comprehensive program covers the use of air, nitrox, trimix, and oxygen, with specific guidelines that ensure safety.
This course is designed to safely train students to:
- Dive to a maximum depth of 50 meters/165 feet.
- Use air, nitrox, trimix and oxygen.
- The END/EAD for trimix must not exceed 30 meters/100 feet.
- The minimum oxygen content for bottom (back) gas is 21%.
- Use of 2 decompression gases containing dedicated decompression gas up to and including 100% oxygen for optimized decompression obligations.
- Prerequisites:
- 50 hours logged or 75 dives (at least 25 dives deeper than 35m)
- RAID Master Rescue.
- Sidemount or Twinset Diver.
- RAID Decompression Diver.
- Current Rescue Breathing, CPR Training and Oxygen Provider certificates.
- Diver certified as “Twinset Extended Decompression Diver” or “Sidemount Extended Decompression Diver”.
