Unit Specific Entry-Level Program For CCR
This is a no decompression, entry-level course to train divers in both the general skills and unit-specific protocols to dive and care for a Closed-Circuit Rebreather (CCR). The maximum depth for dives associated with this certification is 40 meters / 130 feet.
Participants using specific rebreathers that are deemed to be more advanced than a sport or recreational rebreathers would be required to take this course as an entry into the world of silent diving. This course covers important techniques for using air diluent for no-decompression dives, focusing on skill development and gas management.
RAID supports the following rebreathers for this course:
- Hollis Prism 2 Rebreather.
- Inspiration Rebreather.
