In diving, normoxic gases are gas mixtures containing an oxygen concentration similar to atmospheric air, not less than 18%. They provide divers with a balanced oxygen level, reducing risks of oxygen toxicity at deeper depths. Normoxic mixtures enable safer dives within certain depth limits without excessive oxygen.
The Normoxic course CCR Course is designed for experienced rebreather divers who wish to expand their skills and explore greater depths using Closed Circuit Rebreathers (CCR). This comprehensive course covers essential techniques for conducting safe dives up to 60 metres (200 feet), including gas management, dive planning, and safety protocols. Participants will gain practical experience in a controlled environment, preparing them for the challenges of deeper diving. Join the normoxic CCR Course to enhance your technical diving capabilities and confidently navigate deeper underwater adventures with no limits to your decompression time.
RAID supports the following Rebreathers for this course:
- Hollis Prism 2 Rebreather.
- Inspiration Rebreather.
- JJ-CCR Rebreather.
- KISS Rebreather.
- Liberty Side Mount Rebreather.
- Liberty Rebreather
- Poseidon MK 6 + 7 Rebreather.
- SF 2 Rebreather
