As a RAIDaptive Buddy, you’ll learn how to assist divers with disabilities by “filling in the gaps” for skills they may not be able to perform independently. This course equips you with the techniques and tools needed to help RAIDaptive Divers effectively execute key diving skills safely and confidently.
Throughout the program, you’ll cover important topics, including ways to assist with skills D1, D2, and D3 of RAIDaptive Divers, as well as proper techniques for transfers, lifts, and other assistance methods. You’ll also develop special communication skills and learn the importance of teamwork in providing the safest diving experience possible for RAIDaptive Divers.
