BECOME A RAID DECOMPRESSION INSTRUCTOR

The RAID Decompression Instructor rating is your entry into RAID technical diver instruction. It is the first step into a whole new adventure for an existing recreational instructor with technical diving experience, ready to up their game. As a Decompression Instructor, you will teach divers the foundational skills and accepted techniques of staged decompression. These include the importance of proper cylinder labelling, gas-switching procedures, advanced buoyancy and trim in open water. Students in this course will have experience using a twinset or sidemount primary-cylinder configuration.

The structure of the Decompression instructor program follows the established RAID Way… Online academics → instructor development → open-water evaluations → new committed divers with the skills to enjoy their activities and become repeat customers.

During this program, your instructor trainer will put you through your paces. Not only will your personal diving skills be sharpened, but you will learn how to plan around and mitigate the vagaries of decompression stress for you and your students. SKILLS (WHAT YOU’LL LEARN)

Como parte deste programa, você ensinará seus alunos a planejar mergulhos com segurança, confiança e em estrita conformidade com os padrões da RAID, utilizando um cilindro de gás de descompressão (com até 100% de oxigênio) em mergulhos com tempo de fundo prolongado e maiores oportunidades de exploração e vivência de uma nova abordagem do mergulho. Disponível para profundidades máximas de 40 metros (com ar e nitrox), 45 metros (com ar e nitrox) ou 45 metros (com ar, nitrox e trimix).

OUTCOME

Este curso foi elaborado para aprimorar a qualidade e a profundidade de sua capacidade de instrução e sua habilidade de avaliar o desempenho de mergulhadores em um ambiente controlado, porém exigente.

To get started, all you need to do is register with RAID and create an online profile by clicking here. Once registered, you can purchase the course online in our “Store”, and then start reading the manuals and complete the quiz and exam. Once registered, you will have immediate access to RAID’s unique FREe-Learning platform, where you can download your course and start your academic training immediately. FREe-Learning allows you to download the manuals and complete all the associated quizzes. Once you have done this, you will need to contact your local RAID Dive Center to schedule your course and let them guide you through the training process. Once you have agreed all associated fees, your dive center will open the full training program so that you can complete any exams, have all your skills signed off, and receive your electronic certification card. Your RAID online course includes all your training materials, which you can access for life. Upon completion, your internationally recognized electronic certification will be issued.
