HYPOXIC TRIMIX REBREATHER INSTRUCTOR COURSE

This course is designed to safely train Instructors to teach and certify RAID Hypoxic Trimix divers to plan and conduct decompression dives to a maximum depth of 100m / 330ft a hypoxic trimix diluent with a minimum of 10% oxygen on a specific unit. Instructors may certify divers for 80m/ 260ft (Limited Hypoxic Trimix). There is no 80m/260ft instructor certification.

Prerequisites For Hypoxic Trimix Rebreather Instructor Course

Minimum 21 years
RAID Deco 60 Open Circuit Diver
RAID Hypoxic Trimix Rebreather Diver
Certified and in status as a RAID Normoxic Instructor on the specific unit.
RAID Instructor on the specific unit for a minimum of 12 months.
Minimum of 10 Normoxic Rebreather students.
Must own the CCR been trained on.
Logged a minimum of 30 dives using trimix with the rebreather to be used during this program, 15 dives deeper than 65 meters / 215 feet.
Certified and current RAID First Aid and Oxygen Provider Instructor or equivalent.
Submit a dive medical passed by a certified diving physician.
Submit proof of liability insurance where applicable.
If the unit is a RAID approved sidemount CCR then the diver must hold the RAID sidemount instructor or equivalent certification.
Must be approved by the CCR factory before enrolled on the instructor course.

To get started, all you need to do is register with RAID and create an online profile by clicking here. Once registered, you can purchase the course online in our “Store”, and then start reading the manuals and complete the quiz and exam. Once registered, you will have immediate access to RAID’s unique FREe-Learning platform, where you can download your course and start your academic training immediately. FREe-Learning allows you to download the manuals and complete all the associated quizzes. Once you have done this, you will need to contact your local RAID Dive Center to schedule your course and let them guide you through the training process. Once you have agreed all associated fees, your dive center will open the full training program so that you can complete any exams, have all your skills signed off, and receive your electronic certification card. Your RAID online course includes all your training materials, which you can access for life. Upon completion, your internationally recognized electronic certification will be issued.
