First things first: thank you for the interest in crossing-over (XO) to Dive RAID International. Our agency has experienced impressive growth, particularly in the past several months, and we’re happy that you’re considering being part of the trend, because we really do believe our members are making a positive change to the dive industry.
You’ve heard us promote The RAID Way™ in our social media postings and promotional material, so perhaps a brief explanation of what that means would be a good start. RAID‘s mission is simple: our professional members provide quality instruction which produces comfortable divers, and that equals repeat customers who become active and loyal to their brand. It’s a simple business plan… and it works. Couple this with a forward-thinking philosophy, providing students an inclusive, non-threatening learning environment, training that promotes the latest technology, and an innovative approach to skill development and safety.
The Fine Print...
Your RAID crossover (XO) allows instructors from recognized agencies to teach Open water 20, Explorer 30, Advanced 35, Master Rescue, Deep 40 and Nitrox. (N.B. If you don’t have a Deep and or Nitrox instructor rating with your current agency, we will complete a workshop through which you can earn Nitrox and Deep Instructor.)
Any additional specialties you have with your existing agency will also be added to the list of programs you can teach. (Naturally, this will be the case provided RAID currently offers these specialties.) Upon successful completion of the crossover, your renewal will automatically be applied.
To maintain active status each year, RAID instructors will be required to certify five (5) divers during the previous calendar year. Should this not be achieved, instructors will be required to do an online update which will detail all the changes at RAID during the past year.

Your Dive Centre is included
We believe that dive centers are a vital part of our industry, and because RAID is a dive center-based agency, your cross-over includes the fee for being a RAID member (ZERO) so, yes, that includes putting and keeping your dive center in status.
